His father was 1929 Manville (John Augustine) Sherman.

His mother was 1929 Irma Dorothy Livingston.

Jesse attended Lowell Elementary School in Missoula, Montana and
Loyola High School in Missoula, Montana.  He is a graduate of
the University of Washington and a Certified Public Accountant.
