Her father was 1890 Benjamin H. Ward

Her mother was 1897 Myrtle Ida Sherman


She was married about 1955 to Ryle Gilbert Knowlton.  Ryle passed
away in 1998.  Lila and Ryle had three children together:

  Michael Knowlton
  Sherry Knowlton (Dee)
  Mark Knowlton

Lila contracted polio as a child at about age 7, but this fact was
not diagnosed or discovered until she was well into adulthood.
