1855 Gilbert H. Faatz



Born: Aug.  4, 1855 probably at Honesdale, PA       

Died: Date and place unknown, probably near Binghamton, NY.


His father was Henry G. Faatz.

His mother was Jane E. Mayhew.


He was married on Nov. 29th (year unknown) to Helen D. Henderson
in Mobile, Mobile County, Alabama.  They had these children:

  Gilbert H. Faatz  (no information)
  Harold L. Faatz   (no information)

In 1890, Gilbert and two of his brothers started the Faatz Brush and Felting Works.


According to some hand-written notes from my mother, recording 
information that was told to her by her mother, Norma Rose Pulis,
Gilbert became a multi-millionaire and lived in Orange, New Jersey.
She also stated that Gilbert had two sons, one named Frank, the
other possibly named Lee (or else Lee was Frank's son, not clear).
